DESCRIPTION: I wish I knew more about this material. I purchased a small sample of this on a trip to Thailand to see if it faceted well and the whole parcel sold before I could finish the sample facets. For those who are into unique inclusions I think this turned out to be a great gem. Without sending this out to get tested I can't get a positive ID on the inclusions but it looks very similar to the biotite sometimes seen in Zambian emeralds. Extremely thin platelets that can hardly be seen when viewed down the A/B-Axis and appear as broad dark flakes when looking down the C-Axis.
